About this role
The team is seeking a QA Engineer to join their Central Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing fundamentals and will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through rigorous testing practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
- Perform regression testing and defect management throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for defects and issues identified during testing.
- Execute API testing, focusing on REST APIs, including authentication, request/response validation, and error handling.
- Utilize SQL for data validation, reconciliation, and issue investigation.
- Engage in backend and integration testing, assessing services, logs, and system-to-system flows.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality standards are met and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of software testing fundamentals and methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with API testing and SQL.
- Familiarity with backend and integration testing processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
