As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of the software products. You will work closely with the development team to design, implement, and execute test plans, as well as identify and document defects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing test cases and test scripts for new and existing features
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and specifications
- Performing regression testing and ensuring software quality standards are met
- Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects using appropriate tools
- Participating in code reviews and providing feedback on software design and implementation
Required skills and qualifications:
- Strong experience in software testing methodologies and best practices
- Proficiency in automated testing tools and frameworks
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
- Experience with performance and load testing tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance and software testing, preferably in a SaaS environment.
