About this role
The team is seeking a skilled QA Automation Tester with a strong focus on IoT technologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automation testing, particularly within cloud environments, and a solid understanding of various AWS services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute automated test scripts for IoT applications using tools like Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Manage test cases and documentation using test management tools such as X-Ray or Zephyr.
- Design comprehensive test cases and prepare necessary test data to ensure thorough coverage.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab CI to streamline testing processes.
- Utilize scripting languages like Python or JavaScript to enhance automation capabilities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, IoT Core, and CloudFormation.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools, including Postman and rest-assured.
- Proficiency in test design and execution, with a focus on automation.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in QA automation testing, with a focus on IoT applications.
