About this role
The team is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join their dynamic team in Gurugram, Haryana. In this mid-senior level role, you will be instrumental in defining and implementing quality strategies throughout the product lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and other cross-functional teams to design effective testing approaches and ensure the highest quality of deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for various applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand project requirements and define testing strategies.
- Execute automated and manual tests, analyze results, and provide feedback.
- Identify, record, and track bugs and issues in a timely manner.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes.
- Mentor junior QA team members and share best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in QA automation and software testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with programming languages like Java, Python, or C#.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and working in an Agile environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in QA automation or software development engineering in test (SDET).
