About this role
The team is seeking a Python Developer Lead to spearhead the development of scalable backend solutions. This role involves designing and managing PostgreSQL databases for optimal performance and implementing AWS Lambda functions and EC2 instances. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust cloud-based applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write clean, efficient Python code to meet project requirements.
- Optimize database queries and schema design for performance enhancements.
- Configure and manage AWS infrastructure to support application needs.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software features.
- Mentor and guide junior developers in best practices and coding standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with Django framework.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL database management.
- Familiarity with AWS services, especially EC2 and Lambda.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in backend development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
