About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Python Developer to build and manage reliable API-based data ingestion pipelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on data quality, security, monitoring, and production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain robust API data ingestion pipelines.
- Ensure high data quality and security throughout the ingestion process.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production operations to maintain system reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement API requirements.
- Document API specifications and usage guidelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Python development (minimum 3 years).
- Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs; knowledge of SOAP is a plus.
- Familiarity with API authentication methods such as OAuth2, JWT, API Keys, and mTLS.
- Understanding of API pagination and data handling techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in Python development and API management.
