About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Python Developer for a contract-to-hire role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable RESTful APIs using Python and integrating AWS services. This position requires a strong understanding of backend development and cloud technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable REST APIs.
- Integrate with third-party and internal microservices.
- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Collaborate asynchronously with the team; produce clear documentation for implemented workflows and integrations.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing API services for performance and reliability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Python and experience with Python libraries.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, and EventBridge.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in backend development with a focus on Python and AWS.
