About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Python Developer with expertise in AWS to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing serverless applications and working with various APIs. This role involves designing, creating, and supporting Python Lambda services that integrate with multiple data sources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement serverless applications using AWS Lambda and other AWS services.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using FastAPI and Open API Schema.
- Work with databases such as Postgres and MongoDB to manage data effectively.
- Utilize Kafka for real-time data streaming and processing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing applications for performance and scalability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient in Python programming and AWS services.
- Experience with serverless architecture and API development.
- Familiarity with Kafka and data streaming concepts.
- Knowledge of database management with Postgres and MongoDB.
- Understanding of API Gateways, SNS, and Lambda functions.
- Media industry experience is a plus but not mandatory.
The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of relevant experience in software development, particularly in Python and AWS environments.
