About this role
The team is seeking a Python Analytics Dashboard & Application Developer to join their team in Mumbai, India. This permanent, full-time position reports to the Head of Data and is crucial for bridging the gap between data analytics and application development. You will be responsible for designing and building interactive, analytically rich web applications using Dash, with Databricks Lakehouse serving as the data backend.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and applications using Python and Dash.
- Collaborate with the data engineering team to ensure seamless integration with upstream data pipelines.
- Analyze user requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Optimize application performance and ensure data accuracy and security.
- Provide ongoing support and enhancements to existing applications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with Dash framework.
- Familiarity with data visualization libraries and tools.
- Experience connecting applications to data backends, particularly Databricks Lakehouse.
- Knowledge of data analytics concepts and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in application development and data analytics.
