About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in data engineering to lead enterprise-scale data and analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Databricks and Microsoft Fabric, along with a proven track record of managing complex projects in the data domain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage data engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement Lakehouse architecture and data pipelines.
- Oversee the development and integration of ETL/ELT processes using PySpark and SQL.
- Ensure strong understanding and application of Delta Lake for effective data management.
- Drive BI and Analytics integration to support business intelligence initiatives.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders and technical teams to align project objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of experience in project management, specifically in data engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and Microsoft Fabric.
- Proficiency in ETL/ELT processes, PySpark, and SQL.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering Lakehouse architecture and managing data pipelines.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
