The team is seeking a skilled Production Support Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, analyzing, and resolving production issues using advanced query and programming skills. You will conduct root cause analysis and identify areas for improvement in monitoring and application stability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for production issues, support requests, and alerts.
- Communicate with line of business and management regarding the overall status and health of the application.
- Perform troubleshooting and analysis to resolve production incidents effectively.
- Conduct root cause analysis to prevent future issues and improve system reliability.
- Look for opportunities to enhance monitoring systems and application performance.
- Learn and excel in the team’s in-house products and other relevant technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong programming skills and experience with advanced query languages.
- Familiarity with production support processes and methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in production support or a similar role.
