The team is seeking a Production Application Support Specialist with a focus on Application Packaging to join their dynamic team in Hyderabad. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the operational efficiency of applications, ensuring that they are packaged and deployed effectively to meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for production applications, focusing on troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Manage application packaging and deployment processes, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application requirements and provide feedback on packaging processes.
- Monitor application performance and implement improvements to enhance user experience.
- Document processes and maintain knowledge base for application support.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in application support, with a strong emphasis on application packaging.
- Proficiency in packaging tools such as InstallShield, WiX, or similar.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Batch).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
