The team is seeking a Principal Systems Development Engineer to join their innovative team. In this role, you will work at the forefront of technology, integrating hardware and software systems to meet complex customer requirements. You will be responsible for the design and development of electronic and electro-mechanical systems, conducting feasibility studies, and preparing installation, operation, and maintenance specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop systems-oriented products that meet customer specifications.
- Conduct feasibility studies on engineering proposals to assess viability and effectiveness.
- Prepare detailed installation, operation, and maintenance specifications and instructions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software.
- Lead projects from conception through to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in systems development engineering, with a strong focus on both hardware and software integration.
- Proficiency in electronic and electro-mechanical system design.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct thorough feasibility studies.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex technical information.
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in systems development engineering or a related field.
