About this role
The team is seeking a Principal Statistical Programmer to lead and manage statistical programming activities within clinical projects. This role requires a strong background in statistical programming and project management, ensuring successful project delivery within timelines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fill the Statistical Programming Lead role on assigned projects.
- Input into and negotiate statistical programming timelines, ensuring adherence to agreed schedules.
- Coordinate and lead a statistical programming team towards the successful completion of studies.
- Monitor project resourcing and budgets, identifying any changes in scope as necessary.
- Oversee project start-up activities, including the creation of global programs and tracking spreadsheets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in statistical programming, preferably in a clinical research setting.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as SAS or R.
- Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to lead teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in statistical programming and project management.
