About this role
The team is seeking a Principal Software Engineer with expertise in Java to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of experience in building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications. This role involves taking ownership of the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design through to testing and deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate directly with Product Managers to understand requirements and design effective solutions.
- Take end-to-end ownership of designing solutions for feature requirements.
- Plan and monitor the development process to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Java and Java EE.
- Experience with enterprise application development.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
