About this role
The team is seeking a Principal Software Engineer specializing in Data Platform solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and developing scalable data solutions on Microsoft Azure, ensuring high performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data solutions using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Develop and manage data pipelines and workflows to facilitate data integration and transformation.
- Ensure data security and compliance by utilizing Azure Key Vault and other security measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions with Microsoft SharePoint and other applications.
- Optimize data storage and processing using Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 and Azure SQL Database.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data solutions to ensure optimal performance and availability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of hands-on experience in Azure data engineering.
- Proficiency in Azure Event Hub, Azure Logic Apps, and Function Apps.
- Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with data modeling concepts.
- Experience with data governance and best practices in data management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a hybrid work environment.
