The team is seeking a highly skilled Principal Software Engineer to join their team and help create innovative automotive discovery and shopping products that connect customers with their ideal vehicles. In this role, you will collaborate with product managers, designers, external vendors, and partner engineering teams to design and develop exceptional automotive shopping experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture and design of scalable software solutions for automotive applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in software development.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in software engineering with a focus on automotive or e-commerce solutions.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python.
- Strong understanding of web technologies, including React, Node.js, and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in software engineering, with a track record of leading complex projects.
