The team is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to play a pivotal role in modernizing and transforming their Markets Surveillance platforms, which include Electronic & Voice Surveillance and Trade Surveillance. This position requires expertise in designing and building cloud-native, data-driven solutions that support critical regulatory and market monitoring functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable software solutions for surveillance platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Lead the development of cloud-native applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Oversee the integration of various data sources and ensure data integrity and security.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to enhance the technology stack.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in software engineering with a focus on cloud technologies.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with data processing frameworks and databases.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
Experience: 8-10 years in software engineering or related fields.
