About this role
The team is seeking a Principal Programmer Analyst to act as the technical lead on multiple clinical technical initiatives within the Biostatistics division. This role will support Biostatistics, Centralized Monitoring, and Clinical Data Management. The successful candidate will oversee the design, development, maintenance, and support of enterprise applications, databases, and data integration solutions critical to the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical aspects of clinical initiatives, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
- Design and implement robust data integration solutions to enhance data management processes.
- Maintain and optimize existing applications and databases for performance and reliability.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members and technical staff.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Extensive experience in software development and database management, particularly in a clinical or biostatistics environment.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
- Strong knowledge of data integration tools and techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in software development and technical leadership roles.
