The team is seeking a Principal Engineer, Developer Experience to lead their initiatives in enhancing the developer experience across the organization. This role is critical in driving innovation and ensuring that development teams have the tools and environments necessary to deliver high-quality software efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of developer tooling and processes that improve productivity and collaboration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify pain points in the development lifecycle and propose effective solutions.
- Advocate for best practices in coding, testing, and deployment to enhance software quality and reliability.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and innovations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in software development, with a strong focus on developer experience.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, and CI/CD tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8-10 years in software engineering or a related field, with a focus on enhancing developer experience.
