About this role
The team is seeking a Principal Engineer specializing in DevOps to lead the design and implementation of a robust CI/CD tooling platform. This role requires collaboration with Infrastructure, Application Development, and Security teams to ensure seamless integration and automation across various environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement CI/CD tooling that incorporates automated infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Develop and maintain security controls and testing protocols within the CI/CD framework.
- Create monitoring solutions and feedback loops to enhance system performance and reliability.
- Assist Application Development teams in building and enhancing their Infrastructure and Application Build and Release Pipelines.
- Provide support for CI/CD and associated tools across development and production environments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in DevOps practices and CI/CD methodologies.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of security best practices in DevOps.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in DevOps or related fields.
