The team is seeking a Principal Engineer - Cyber Security to play a crucial role in ensuring the security of their products. This position involves close collaboration with the project and cybersecurity Global lead, providing valuable inputs to the design and testing of new products and projects. The ideal candidate will also mentor and guide software developers on security issues, engage in design reviews, and help resolve security challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate security into product design and development.
- Provide mentorship to software developers on security best practices and issues.
- Conduct design reviews and contribute to the identification and resolution of security vulnerabilities.
- Engage in the testing of new products to ensure compliance with security standards.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies to enhance product security.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in software engineering with a focus on cybersecurity.
- Strong understanding of security protocols, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Experience with security tools and frameworks relevant to product security.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8-10 years in software engineering with a focus on cybersecurity.
