The team is seeking a Principal Engineer in Applications Development to lead the design and implementation of software solutions. This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to work collaboratively across global teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in high and low-level design activities to create robust software architectures.
- Design, develop, and deliver end-to-end software solutions that meet business requirements.
- Ensure reusability, security, performance, and adherence to industry coding practices and patterns.
- Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain code quality and standards.
- Collaborate with a highly skilled team, providing guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Demonstrate flexibility by working in shifts to ensure overlap with teams in the US, UK, and Australia.
- Work independently to resolve technical challenges and drive project success.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in software development with a focus on applications.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages and frameworks relevant to application development.
- Familiarity with software design patterns and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously.
- Experience in a collaborative team environment, with strong communication skills.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years in software development, with a focus on application engineering.
