About this role
As a Principal Data Steward, you will play a key role in managing and ensuring the accuracy and consistency of finance master data. You will work across SAP and Oracle platforms, ensuring both systems stay in sync. Your expertise will be critical in reconciling finance data during the Enterprise Transformation, performing data cleansing, and ensuring high data quality across platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the availability, consistency, reliability, and security of finance data across systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data governance policies and procedures.
- Monitor and report on data quality metrics, implementing improvements as necessary.
- Conduct data cleansing and validation processes to maintain high standards of data integrity.
- Support the integration of finance data during system upgrades and migrations.
- Provide training and support to teams on data management best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Data Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong experience with SAP and Oracle financial systems.
- Proficient in data analysis and data management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in data stewardship or data management roles, preferably in finance.
