About this role
The team is seeking a Principal Data Architect with a strong focus on Data Modelling. In this role, you will understand business requirements and translate them into conceptual, logical, and physical data models. You will serve as the principal advisor on data architecture across various data requirements, including aggregation data lake models and data warehouses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional teams to define data strategies that align with business goals.
- Leverage the latest technologies in data handling to optimize data architecture.
- Define and govern data architecture principles, standards, and best practices to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop effective data solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior team members in data modelling and architecture practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in data architecture and data modelling, with a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts.
- Proficiency in data modelling tools and technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and big data frameworks is a plus.
Experience:
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in data architecture and modelling.
