The team is a leading life insurance technology company on a mission to democratize access to life insurance. They are seeking a Principal Data Analyst to join their dynamic team and contribute to transforming the life insurance experience for consumers, agents, and carriers.
In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets to derive actionable insights that drive business decisions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data-driven strategies and improve overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze large volumes of data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define data requirements and ensure data integrity.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the development of best practices in data analysis.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 5-8 years of experience in data analysis or a similar role.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
