The team is seeking a Principal Architect specializing in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with a focus on Data Engineering and AI/ML. This leadership role involves driving innovative solutions and architectures that leverage GCP to meet complex business challenges faced by Fortune 1000 companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable data architectures on GCP.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver AI/ML solutions.
- Mentor and guide engineering teams in best practices for cloud architecture and data engineering.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance data processing and analytics capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with GCP services, including BigQuery, Dataflow, and AI Platform.
- Strong background in data engineering, machine learning, and analytics.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience in leading architectural discussions and making strategic decisions.
Experience:
- 15-20 years of relevant experience in data engineering and cloud architecture.
