About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer with expertise in Power BI to join their Data & Analytics team. This role involves owning the complete lifecycle of analytics delivery, from data modeling in the warehouse to creating polished, secure, production-grade Power BI reports that are embedded in client-facing applications. This position is a hybrid of technical and consultative responsibilities, requiring both strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full analytics delivery lifecycle, ensuring high-quality reporting solutions.
- Develop and maintain data models and structures in the data warehouse.
- Create and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and provide insights based on data analysis.
- Ensure data security and compliance in all reporting solutions.
- Provide training and support to clients on Power BI functionalities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Engineer, specifically with Power BI.
- Strong understanding of data modeling and ETL processes.
- Proficient in SQL and data warehousing concepts.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in client-facing roles, with a focus on consulting or embedded analytics.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Business Intelligence and Power BI.
