About this role
The team is seeking a highly skilled Power BI Architect to join their team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Power BI architecture and a strong background in data modeling and governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement advanced Power BI solutions using DAX, Power Query, and Dataflows.
- Develop and manage composite models and ensure effective data governance and security practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Azure services such as Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and Azure SQL.
- Optimize data models using SQL and implement best practices for star schema, snowflake, and normalization.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8 years of experience in Power BI architecture.
- Proficient in advanced Power BI functionalities and Azure services.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and data modeling techniques.
- Experience with Power BI governance and security best practices.
Experience: 8-10 years.
