About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Power BI Architect to lead the design and implementation of business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Power BI and a deep understanding of DAX functions to manage complex calculations effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Power BI solutions that meet business requirements.
- Utilize external BI tools such as DAX Studio for evaluating DAX calculations and analyzing vpaq metrics.
- Manage queries running against datasets and ensure optimal performance.
- Update RLS logic in live models using Tabular Editor and create necessary partitions manually in case of dataset failures.
- Employ ALM toolkit for deployment and manage TMSL/XLMA endpoints for table and partition refreshes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Power BI Architect or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in DAX and a sound understanding of advanced DAX functions.
- Experience with BI tools and frameworks, including Tabular Editor and ALM toolkit.
- Familiarity with data modeling, ETL processes, and performance tuning.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years in business intelligence or data analytics roles.
