Postgres SQL EDB

As a Senior Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining highly available EDB PostgreSQL and MySQL database environments. Your role will include database architecture design, performance tuning, replication setup, backup and recovery, and ensuring data security. You will also provide expertise in cloud migrations and ensure database environments meet high availability and disaster recovery requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain EDB PostgreSQL and MySQL databases to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Design and implement database architecture and strategies for scalability and reliability.
• Perform performance tuning and optimization of database queries and configurations.
• Set up and manage database replication and backup solutions to ensure data integrity.
• Develop and implement disaster recovery plans and procedures.
• Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Provide support for cloud migrations and integration of database solutions in cloud environments.
• Collaborate with development teams to support database-related needs and requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience with EDB PostgreSQL and MySQL database management.
• Proficiency in database architecture design and performance tuning.
• Experience with replication setup and backup/recovery strategies.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies and migrations.
• Familiarity with data security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in database administration, with a focus on PostgreSQL and MySQL.
