About this role
The team is seeking a Senior PLM Application Specialist with expertise in SAP platforms and technology. This role is critical in addressing the current gaps in internal SAP knowledge and supporting the transition from legacy systems to the global PLM target platform, SAP ECTR/S/4.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance internal SAP capabilities.
- Provide technical support for instance setup, transports, and custom code queries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of SAP PLM solutions.
- Lead ongoing stabilization efforts and technical routines to optimize PLM processes.
- Participate in Global PLM Kaizen initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with SAP PLM applications, specifically ECTR and S/4.
- Proven track record in managing transitions from legacy systems (e.g., Windchill, PRO.FILE) to SAP.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with internal teams and external partners.
- Experience in budget management and cost reduction initiatives.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in PLM application support and SAP technologies.
