About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Platform Messaging Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for upgrading and managing RabbitMQ environments while supporting and maintaining IBM WebSphere MQ and Itiviti FIX integrations. You will play a critical role in building and supporting high-availability setups across multiple data centers and assisting with system migrations, ideally using blue-green deployment methods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Upgrade and manage RabbitMQ environments.
- Support and maintain IBM WebSphere MQ and Itiviti FIX integrations.
- Build and support high-availability messaging setups across multiple data centers.
- Assist with system migrations using blue-green deployment methods.
- Contribute to both build (change) and run (support) tasks for all middleware products.
- Monitor and troubleshoot performance, availability, and reliability of messaging platforms.
- Utilize tools like Splunk, PowerShell, and SQL for monitoring and management tasks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with RabbitMQ and IBM WebSphere MQ.
- Familiarity with Itiviti FIX integrations.
- Knowledge of high-availability setups and deployment methodologies.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and performance monitoring.
- Experience with tools such as Splunk, PowerShell, and SQL.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in messaging systems and middleware technologies.
