About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Platform/Infra Python Test Automation Engineer to join their QA team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining Python-based test automation for the platform and VM layer of SD-WAN controllers, including the Manager, Controller, and Validator components. This is a senior individual-contributor position where you will establish best practices and patterns for structuring the test automation framework without formal management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Python-based test automation solutions for SD-WAN controllers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of test automation into the development process.
- Set standards and patterns for the test automation framework to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct thorough testing to identify defects and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to test automation processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5 to 7 years of experience in Python automation, with a strong understanding of networking concepts.
- Proficient in developing test automation frameworks and tools using Python.
- Familiarity with SD-WAN technologies and controllers is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in a relevant role, with a focus on test automation and networking.
