The team is seeking a skilled Platform Engineer to join their team in Bangalore for a long-term contract role. This position involves providing production support and operations for their Kubernetes platform (IKS). The ideal candidate will take ownership of the release and rollout of Kubernetes and its add-ons, ensuring the reliability of a business-critical platform at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide production support and operations for the Kubernetes platform.
- Own the release and rollout processes for Kubernetes and its add-ons.
- Debug complex issues and improve system performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance platform reliability.
- Monitor system health and implement proactive measures to prevent issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Proficiency in cloud environments, particularly with IKS.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving production issues.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years in platform engineering or related fields.
