The team is seeking a skilled Platform Engineer with a strong background in Java frameworks to join their innovative team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining a robust platform that supports millions of users globally. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the platform's capabilities and ensure high performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java frameworks.
- Collaborate with product managers and other engineers to understand requirements and implement solutions.
- Optimize and refactor existing code to improve performance and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
- Implement best practices for software development and deployment.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient in Java and familiar with Java frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of database management systems, both SQL and NoSQL.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
Experience required: 5-8 years in platform engineering or a related field.
