About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Platform Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and security of software applications and infrastructure throughout the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct code quality assessments and security reviews to identify and address vulnerabilities and code defects early.
- Implement and enforce coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.
- Utilize infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and CloudFormation for automating provisioning, configuration, and management of cloud-based environments.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security practices into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Monitor and optimize application performance and reliability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or similar.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies and security practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years in a platform engineering or related role, with a focus on security and code quality.
