About this role
The team is seeking a Plant Head for API Manufacturing to oversee overall plant operations and production. This leadership role is critical in driving efficiency and ensuring the highest standards of product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of plant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient production processes.
- Improve manufacturing yield and product quality through innovative strategies.
- Reduce manufacturing costs and solvent consumption while maintaining compliance with industry standards.
- Enhance productivity and batch cycle time to meet production goals.
- Lead and coordinate the production technical engineering, quality control (QC), quality assurance (QA), and utilities teams.
- Troubleshoot complex manufacturing and process problems effectively.
- Implement systems for production costing and performance reporting to monitor and optimize operations.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance plant capacity and equipment utilization.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in API manufacturing, with a strong background in plant operations.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate diverse teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in a manufacturing context.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and quality standards.
Experience:
- A minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, with a focus on API production.
