About this role
The team is seeking two experienced Pipeline Developers to join their Editorial & Post-Production team on a fixed-term contract basis. These roles are focused on a time-critical engagement within a complex, live feature film production pipeline. You will be tasked with solving real problems that affect editorial, VFX, and delivery processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain tools and workflows to enhance the editorial pipeline.
- Collaborate with editorial, VFX, and delivery teams to identify and resolve pipeline issues.
- Ensure that all tools are user-friendly and meet the needs of the production team.
- Troubleshoot and debug pipeline-related problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Document processes and provide training to team members on new tools and workflows.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in pipeline development, specifically in editorial and post-production environments.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and familiarity with APIs.
- Experience with software tools commonly used in post-production, including but not limited to Nuke, Avid, or similar.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in pipeline development or a similar role.
