About this role
The team is seeking a skilled PIC Basic Developer with mid to senior level experience to join their team on a contract basis. This role is fully remote and requires the candidate to work during US shift hours. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, debugging, and enhancing applications and programs for PIC microcontroller-based systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, modify, maintain, and enhance programs for PIC microcontrollers using PIC BASIC / PIC BASIC PRO.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement embedded systems solutions.
- Debug and troubleshoot existing applications to ensure optimal performance.
- Document development processes and maintain code quality standards.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in embedded systems and PIC development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience in PIC BASIC and PIC BASIC PRO.
- Proficiency in embedded systems development and programming.
- Experience with microcontroller architecture and interfacing.
- Solid debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in PIC BASIC development and embedded systems.
