The team is seeking a skilled Data Warehouse Testing Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ETL and Data Warehouse Testing, ensuring the integrity and performance of data systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough testing of data warehouse systems, focusing on ETL processes and data validation.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for data warehouse applications.
- Collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure quality deliverables.
- Perform data mapping and reconciliation to verify data accuracy and consistency.
- Utilize ETL tools such as Informatica or Talend for testing purposes.
- Document testing processes, results, and defects, and communicate findings to the development team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Data Warehouse and ETL Testing.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and database testing.
- Experience with data mapping, data validation, and data reconciliation techniques.
- Familiarity with ETL tools like Informatica, Talend, or similar.
- Solid understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and methodologies.
Experience: 5-8 years.
