In this role, you will play a crucial part in the performance tuning of the product, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. You will be responsible for designing and executing performance tests, analyzing results, and providing actionable insights to improve system performance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing performance test plans and test cases.
  • Identifying performance bottlenecks and recommending solutions.
  • Collaborating with development teams to ensure performance considerations are integrated into the product lifecycle.
  • Utilizing performance testing tools and frameworks to simulate load and measure performance metrics.
  • Documenting test results and providing detailed reports to stakeholders.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Strong experience in performance testing methodologies and tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Groovy).
  • Familiarity with application performance monitoring tools.
  • Understanding of web technologies and architecture (e.g., RESTful services, microservices).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience:

  • 6-8 years of hands-on experience in performance testing and tuning.
