About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Penetration Tester to join their dynamic team of security professionals. This role involves evaluating the security of applications and networks by simulating attacks from a malicious actor's perspective. You will play a crucial role in identifying vulnerabilities and providing actionable remediation strategies to enhance the security posture of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct penetration tests on web applications, mobile applications, and networks.
- Identify and exploit vulnerabilities to assess the security of systems.
- Prepare detailed reports outlining findings, risks, and recommendations for remediation.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into the development lifecycle.
- Stay updated on the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient in penetration testing tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, and Nmap.
- Strong understanding of web application security (OWASP Top Ten).
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
- Familiarity with network protocols and security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, etc.).
- Relevant certifications such as CEH, OSCP, or GPEN are a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in penetration testing or related fields.
