About this role
The team is seeking a skilled QA Engineer (Manual & Automation) to join their engineering team, focusing on the Pickles web transformation project. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test strategies that encompass manual testing, automation, API testing, regression, and release validation across the platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various testing types.
- Conduct manual testing to ensure software quality and functionality.
- Utilize automation tools to create and maintain automated test scripts.
- Perform API testing to validate backend services and integrations.
- Execute regression tests to ensure existing functionalities remain unaffected by new changes.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to identify and resolve defects.
- Report and track defects using appropriate tools and methodologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in manual testing practices and methodologies.
- Proficiency in automation testing tools and frameworks.
- Familiarity with API testing tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of regression testing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Experience:
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in QA testing, with a focus on both manual and automation testing.
