The team is a leading venture capital firm based in Silicon Valley, seeking a Partner 32, Assistant Controller with a strong background in the cryptocurrency sector. This role will involve overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and supporting investment activities related to crypto assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing financial reporting and analysis for crypto-related investments.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements specific to cryptocurrency.
- Collaborate with investment teams to evaluate financial performance of portfolio companies.
- Develop and implement financial controls and procedures for crypto investments.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- 5-8 years of experience in finance or accounting, with a focus on cryptocurrency or blockchain.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance in the crypto space.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
