About this role
The team is seeking a highly skilled Oracle SOA Developer for a contract position. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Oracle's middleware stack, focusing on designing, developing, and supporting integrations. This role requires a deep understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), Oracle Service Bus (OSB), and Business Process Execution Language (BPEL).
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement solutions using Oracle SOA Suite 12c, including BPEL Process Manager.
- Utilize Oracle Service Bus (OSB) for service mediation, routing, and transformation tasks.
- Develop and manage Mediator components, Business Rules, and various adapters to connect with external systems.
- Implement security policies using Oracle Web Service Manager (OWSM).
- Automate workflows using Oracle Business Process Management (BPM).
- Manipulate data using XML, XSD, XSLT, XPath, and XQuery.
- Develop web services adhering to standards such as WSDL, SOAP, and RESTful services.
- Write efficient Java/J2EE code, focusing on performance tuning and monitoring.
- Use Oracle JDeveloper for building and deploying SOA composites.
- Handle database interactions with SQL and PL/SQL for Oracle 19c databases.
- Troubleshoot and debug production issues, ensuring system performance and reliability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle SOA, OSB, and BPEL.
- Strong understanding of XML and web services technologies.
- Proficient in Java/J2EE and familiar with Unix Shell and WLST scripting.
- Solid experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and data modeling.
- Knowledge of middleware stacks and integration patterns.
- Ability to monitor and optimize SOA processes effectively.
