About this role
The team is seeking a seasoned Oracle Database Administrator (L3) with 5–7 years of hands-on experience specializing in Oracle Database environments running natively on Windows Server platforms (2016 through 2025). The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in managing Oracle Standard Edition 2 (SE2) environments and will play a crucial role in ensuring the performance, availability, and security of the database systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Oracle databases, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Implement and manage database backup and recovery strategies.
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize database queries and improve application performance.
- Ensure database security and compliance with industry standards.
- Provide support for database upgrades and migrations.
- Document database configurations, processes, and procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with Oracle Database Administration, particularly on Windows Server platforms.
- Proficiency in Oracle Standard Edition 2 (SE2) and related tools.
- Strong understanding of database backup and recovery techniques.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization of Oracle databases.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as SQL and PL/SQL.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in Oracle Database Administration.
