About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (Oracle DBA) to join their team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining Oracle databases to ensure optimal performance and availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and maintain Oracle databases in both production and non-production environments.
- Monitor database performance, availability, and health to ensure optimal system uptime.
- Manage backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions using RMAN, RAC, and Data Guard.
- Perform database migrations, upgrades, cloning, and other related tasks.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize database queries and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues promptly.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Oracle database administration, including installation and configuration.
- Proficiency in performance tuning, backup and recovery strategies, and disaster recovery planning.
- Familiarity with RMAN, RAC, and Data Guard.
- Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in Oracle database administration.
