About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Oracle DBA Architect to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, administration, configuration, hardening, and troubleshooting of Oracle databases across both Windows and non-Windows operating systems. This role requires a deep understanding of database architecture and design, as well as a commitment to ensuring the health and availability of the database systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and patch Oracle databases on various server environments.
- Monitor database health and performance, ensuring high availability.
- Implement Transparent Data Encryption (TDE), data redaction, channel encryption, and integrity checksum.
- Manage database vaulting and key store management.
- Conduct database performance tuning and optimization.
- Collaborate with development teams to design and implement robust database solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Oracle database installation and administration.
- Strong knowledge of database security practices and tools.
- Familiarity with database architecture and design principles.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database issues.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of relevant experience in Oracle database administration and architecture.
