About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Oracle Database Consultant to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and upgrading of Oracle databases, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle databases.
- Perform Oracle Administration tasks including RAC, RMAN, Data Guard, and Golden Gate.
- Conduct performance tuning of Oracle databases and provide technical support.
- Design and implement various Oracle backup and recovery strategies.
- Set up Oracle replication and slave configurations.
- Code scripts and procedures to automate database tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize database performance and reliability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with Oracle database technologies and tools.
- Proficiency in RAC, RMAN, Data Guard, Golden Gate, and Exadata.
- Strong knowledge of WebLogic middleware, Forms, and Reports.
- Experience with various storage engines and Oracle customer tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience in Oracle database administration and consulting.
